[Updated] Day 2 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu Competition

Team Singapore has attained 1 Gold & 2 Bronze medals in day 2 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu competition! The medals came from: Women’s Optional Changquan Zoe Mui Wei Ting – Gold Men’s Optional Cudgel Yong Yi Xiang – Bronze Men’s Sanda – 65kg Lin Yiqiang – Bronze Well done and congratulations to the athletes especially the Martial House Stars, Zoe and Yi Xiang for attaining their second medal in the Games! Day 1 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu Competition was definitely a fruitful one for Team Singapore as the Wushu athletes have attained a total of 3 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze medals! The medals came from the following athletes: Women’s Compulsory Taijiquan Tan Yan Ning Vera – Gold Ho Lin Yong – Bronze Men’s Optional Changquan Yong Yi Xiang – Gold Men’s Duel Event – Weapons Jesse Adalia Coin, Lee Zhe Xuan & Jowen Lim Si Wei – Gold Women’s Duel Event – Weapons Emily Sin Min Li & Zoe Mui Wei Ting – Silver These remarkable achievements have brought Singapore to the top of the medal standings for Wushu after day 1 of the competition. Congratulations Team Singapore! Hopefully the athletes are able to keep up the momentum to achieve outstanding results for the next two days of the Wushu competition! Counting down to the last 5 days before the start of the 28th SEA Games 2015! The final full-dress rehearsal for the Opening Ceremony of the Games was held last evening. Many parents and students of Martial House were present at the National Stadium to witness the spectacular performance put up by more than 5,000 performers, including the Martial House Stars who were involved in the second act of the ceremony. Martial House Star, Koh Hao Xuan, has received quite a bit of media attention for his “aerial role” during the show! He was featured in today’s edition of The New Paper and Lianhe Zaobao.
